About The Color Cubicle

I’ve tried to write this page so so many times.

The first take was heartfelt with a heavy dose of nostalgia. But it didn’t do a bit of justice to where I am currently, so I decided to scrap it altogether. The second revision was formal and detached but lacked authenticity on all levels.

They say the third time’s the charm. And I’m really hoping that’s true.

Here I find myself, on the tail end of some major disappointments and profound disillusionments, still trying to get it right. The Color Cubicle was born out of my own desire for creative and meaningful work, anchored in the belief that time is our most precious commodity.

So I’ve made what can best be described as a tactical retreat, dedicating myself in service to quiet projects and activities that barely make a ripple on the surface of societal impact, but which mean a lot to me. For now, these little writings and creations are about all that I can contribute. But I hope they will resonate with someone out there.

To the people I respect: Thank you for embodying the qualities of compassion, resilience, commitment, and community.

To the people who once knew me: I am grateful for the various roles that you played, and for the many lessons you’ve taught me.

To any little dreamers out there still holding out hope of living a life fully in color: here’s to having the necessary conversations and taking the necessary actions to make that vision a reality.
